Scott and Ruth Dunaway have been called to preside over the Italy Milan Mission beginning July 1, 2007. They attended the all-Italia missionary reunion Friday evening March 30, 2007 in Salt Lake City, UT. They were gracious enough to allow me to take a picture of them. President and Sister Dunaway are members of the Windsor 5th Ward in the Orem Utah Windsor Stake. They have five children and five grandchildren. President Dunaway works at BYU as an assistant dean in the College of Family, Home and Social Sciences and also as the Director of the Washington Seminar (BYU's Washington, D.C. internship program). He was born in Salt Lake City and grew up in Sunset, Utah. Sister Dunaway was born in Binghamton, New York, and was raised in Groton, New York. They met at BYU and were married in 1976. He served as a missionary in the Italy South Mission (later changed to Italy Rome) from 1973-75 under Presidents Ralph Barnes and Leopold Larcher. He has served as a stake president, bishop, high councilor, ward mission leader and high priest group leader. Sister Dunaway has served as a Relief Society counselor and teacher, a Gospel Doctrine teacher, and as a Primary worker.
